  For more than a century, the VFW has helped our nation's veterans by providing programs and services that promote service to our communities and our country, foster patriotism and perpetuate the memory and history of our fallen service members. Because  VFW-United States is a federally chartered, nonprofit organization, it receives no funding from any government agency; its ability to continue to help America's veterans depends exclusively on VFW members and supporters. Contributions are tax deductible.
 

What Does Your Gift Mean?

Consider what we can do, together. Your minimum annual pledge of $100 could . . .

 
  • Provide critical Veterans Service assistance to a recently discharged member of the military seeking to get back on their feet in civilian life; or
     
  • Make it possible for our Post to continue to provide classroom flags and patriotic learning materials to schools in our community; or
     
  • Deliver free phone time for hospitalized veterans or deployed troops through VFW's Operation Uplink; or
     
  • Provide emergency clothing for up to four wounded service personnel being treated in military hospitals around the world; or
     
  • Add refreshments and other resources to a morale-boosting celebration hosted by VFW volunteers at a VA hospital or other facility for ailing veterans.
